As part of the CROP Women of the Wave network, PIDP is honored to welcome Dame Meg Taylor as our first guest for the Women Leaders of the Region segments of the (En)Gendering Pacific Stories series.
This power-hour, talk story event will promote insightful discussion with Dame Meg, the first woman elected as Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum. Speaking from her experiences as a Papua New Guinean and career lawyer, diplomat, and community leader, Dame Meg will share her experiences in navigating political and community leadership, as well as the role gender has played in these experiences. We welcome audiences to engage in these real-life lessons and advice from one of the most significant Pacific women leaders of our time.
This event will be moderated by another inspiring female leader from the region, Leituala Kuiniselani Toelupe Tago-Elisara, who is currently serving as the Regional Director for Polynesia at Pacific Community, SPC.
Please join us for a powerful and inspiring power hour of women sharing insightful conversation around navigating politics, law and communities as a female leader.
